Reconnect with the creative parts of yourself that may have gone quiet beneath responsibility, productivity, caregiving, and everyday life.

When life gets full, women often put creativity down first.

We tell ourselves we’ll get back to writing, painting, journaling, photography, crafting, dancing, dreaming, or simply making things when we have more time.

Sometimes months—or years—pass.

October’s Writing to Heal gathering invites you to come back.

Creative Reawakening: Create From Wholeness, Not Survival is a gentle afternoon of guided writing, reflection, and creative renewal. Together, we’ll explore what once made us feel creatively alive, what may have gone quiet, and what wants expression in our lives now.

This is not about becoming more productive or turning every creative impulse into another project.

It is about making room for curiosity, imagination, pleasure, and the parts of ourselves that deserve expression simply because they are ours.

We’ll Explore:

- What once made us feel creatively alive

- What went quiet—and why

- Creativity without performance or perfection

- The difference between creating from survival and creating from wholeness

- Small, realistic ways to begin again

- How to make room for creativity in an actual grown woman’s life

Who This Is For:

This gathering is for women who:

- Keep saying, “I used to be creative”

- Have creative interests they’ve pushed aside

- Want to reconnect with writing, art, journaling, crafting, storytelling, or other forms of expression

- Need permission to create without being perfect or productive

- Want a supportive space for reflection and renewal

What to Bring:

Bring a journal or notebook and something comfortable to write with.

You may also bring a favorite pen, colored pencils, markers, or other simple creative materials if you enjoy using them, but they are not required.

A Note About Participation:

No writing experience is required.

Sharing is always optional. You will never be required to read aloud what you write.

Participants may pause, step away, modify a prompt, or simply listen as needed.

Writing to Heal is a reflective, educational experience and not therapy or a substitute for mental-health care.

Pay what you can. No woman will be turned away for inability to pay. For reduced or free payments or additional information, email info@TerriBaileyCHATs.com.
